Clothing repairs by post, anywhere in Czechia
Live on the other side of Prague, or outside it? You can post the garment to us via Zásilkovna. The process is the same as an in-person visit — you just drop the parcel at your nearest pick-up point instead of travelling to us.
How it works
- Leave us your number and we'll call to agree what needs doing
- We send a firm quote with the price, the date and the return postage
- Once you confirm, you pack the garment and drop it at a Zásilkovna point
- We post the finished piece back the same way, usually within 3 working days of arrival
Postage costs
Return postage via Zásilkovna is added to the repair price — currently from 89 Kč per parcel. Send several items together and you pay postage only once.
How long it takes
We usually complete the repair within 3 working days of receiving the parcel, plus 1–2 days for transit each way. The date is always confirmed in the quote.
How to pack the parcel
- Include a note with your name, phone number and order number
- For hemming, state the length in centimetres or include a garment that fits as a reference
- Send garments clean — unfortunately we can't accept dirty or damp items
- Don't send anything until we have explicitly confirmed your order
Frequently asked questions
What if the repair turns out different once unpacked?
If on inspection we find the work or price needs to change, we pause and contact you. We only continue once you approve — we never charge more than you confirmed.
Can I send several items at once?
Yes, and it's worth it — postage is per parcel, not per item. Just tell us what you'd like done with each piece.
Is the parcel insured?
Zásilkovna covers parcels up to a set amount as standard. For higher-value pieces (wedding dresses, leather jackets) we recommend additional cover — tell us the value and we'll advise how to arrange it.
