We replace damaged or worn zips in trousers, skirts, jackets, and coats. We confirm the suitable replacement and work required after assessing the garment.
Garments and zip work
The replacement depends on the zip length, tooth and slider type, colour, and garment construction. A smaller repair may solve some faults; others require replacing the complete zip.
Jackets and coats may require additional work to open and restore linings, facings, or topstitching. We include those steps in the individual assessment and quote.
